PURE FUN

Hey! So last night and the night before ruled totally! I got my books shipped to me on friday, then went to the Democracy Center to sell my book and tell a little story before Free Beer’s set. I had a lot of fun and I was very very happy. Free Beer ripped as usual. Mike is one of the most amazing and intense lead singers I’ve ever seen. The next day I met up with people again at the Undark and the Radium Girls show at the DC. Tons of friends I haven’t seen in ages all converged on one spot and we went to Felipe’s to get burritos. After, I went to the Papercut Zine Library to table my old zine and my new book. I met a ton of awesome people, and had a lot of fun! The first person who bought my book happened to be a juggalo, and we talked about the cultural similarities between juggalos and punks, and how everyone is just trying to have fun. I also met some awesome local zinesters, and saw some fun bands.
Today when I was waiting for the train to Plymouth, I wrote personalized notes to each member of my family in copies of my book and gave it to them. I cried while writing the notes in Dunkin Donuts, and my family was so happy when I gave the books to them! I went out for Thai food and got some excellent tofu fried rice. Everything is wavy gravy, and I am excited to be home and actually relax for once! Everything rules, and I hope things are looking up for you too.
